Introduction

Most of our website can be accessed without the need to register your details, however to order online will require registration. Alternatively we can accept orders by telephone, E Mail or Fax. Our normal office opening times are 7am - 5pm Mon to Friday. Opening times of sales sites differ throughout the season. We accept most major credit and debit cards with the exception of American Express.

Delivery Policy

After you have placed your order, you will be contacted to arrange a mutually convenient delivery day. We cannot specify a time for delivery however if you call head office (01202 579539) on the day of delivery, we will be able to provide an approximate time. Any potential problems regarding access should be notified to us prior to delivery on 01202 579539. Delivery times will vary according to what materials have been ordered. General fencing and trellis is normally delivered within 10 working days, joinery products like gates are normally delivered within 15 working days and log Cabins are normally delivered within 6 weeks. Delivery charges are to the front of house only and customers should make their own arrangements to move materials to the rear of the property. Materials requiring crane unloading will be to the road side only. Fence Stores will not be held liable for damage to property if the customer invites us onto their property for the purpose of delivery.

Cancellations and returns policy

Orders placed by telephone, or on-line customers have the right to cancel their order within 7 days of delivery. Notice must be provided within the 7 days by durable form and this can be done either by email to sales@fencingcentre.co.uk or in writing to Returns, Fence Stores Ltd, Chapel Lane, Parley, Christchurch, Dorset, BH23 6BG. You must keep the goods in good condition while they are in your possession. Goods due for return should be ready for collection in the same place they were delivered. Assuming that the goods were as described, and not faulty a refund will take place less any reasonably costs incurred by Fence Stores. Refunds will take place within a reasonable amount of time after the goods have been returned and inspected. These cancellation provisions do not apply to any bespoke items produced to the customers own specification, or items purchased direct from one of our sales sites.

Currency and tax charges

All payments will be taken in sterling and will be inclusive of Vat at the rate of 15% Products supplied to the Channel islands will be zero rated.

Materials

The majority of our products are manufactured from Timber which is a natural product and so is subject to some movement and cracking. Slight movement and cracking will not be regarded as faulty. If that particular product is no longer fit for its intended use than we will be more than happy to replace it. Pressure treated products dry to a pale green colour however this colour can vary a lot according to species of timber and weather conditions. Variations in colour are not regarded as being faulty.
