Corner Bracket for Composite Joists
Designed and made for us at DuoDeck this specially produced corner bracket gives the perfect fixing for where composite joists have to be fixed as a corner. Traditionally with timber a fixing would be put through the side of one timber into the end grain of another. Because of the composites unique design this is not possible, therefore a corner bracket will not only allow for joists to be fixed together with a strong, secure fixing but the internal brace will mean that joists are kept at a perfect 90o angle.
We recommend using these brackets on every corner interval, for tee junctions we recommend a joist hanger which can be seen below.
